I meant to reply to you..before now. Are you serious, or just messing with me? Did you really think I had a design? I WISH I had a design to send to you, but that was pure randomness. You should see the back of it–it’s a total mess. I don’t ACTUALLY know how to embroider, seriously. I mean, seriously, I do.not.know.how.to.embroider. It’s shameful.

That is a lot of acres. I helped build a fence once when I was a teenager. Once. I got stung by some kind of Mountain Zip Code insect, which I apparently had no immunity towards, and the entire left side of my face swelled up like a GINORMOUS BALLOON, and the “mission trip” team that I was with kept telling me to please just sit down, sit down NOW, but there really wasn’t anywhere to sit in the vast nasty weed field, and I started crying because I was so useless and pathetic and thirsty and wheezy. And then my tears got all stopped up on the one side behind the puss, but eventually leaked forth in a slow oozy grotesque stream and I had to just stand there wiping my face with an over-sized men’s work glove. Maybe this happened on one of your acres! Do you live in Idaho? Did a very pathetic group of teenagers come to your place one time and pretend to build a fence? Was there a grotesque oozing girl with them? That was ME!

LOL. Well, you’re on the right track. Our situation was a bit different because we ranch on 128,000 acres. Lots of room for them to explore and they were rarely inside. They’ve always helped on the ranch so work was never in sort supply, but neither was camping or fishing or building a fort. We are new empty nesters and have lost our help since the kids grew up and left. Send him here! LOL. Warning: we build lots of fence.

i love the idea of using things to help with the shape! brilliant. this might be a good one to use up a few of those vintage table clothes that are totally wonderful, but have a few stains…..

For a wee moment there, I thought maybe i could do this. I KNOW how to use a spoon, mixing bowl, pizza pan and glass, but then i realized I would still have to sew. Cute apron though.
