In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone…
Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him, nor earth sustain;
Heaven and earth shall flee away when He comes to reign.

Such sweet words, thank you. Do you ever read Posy Gets Cozy? It’s very nice.
Oh, and I don’t do it all. Something always has to give, and in my life it’s: a social life, cooking, and TV. Happy 2012!
Yay! You’re welcome!
I just finished making a Kindle Fire case for my daughter. It turned out great. I increased the size of the pattern slightly because I used fusible quilt batting instead of interfacing and I didn’t want to risk it being too tight. Thanks so much for the detailed instructions!
I’m not sure where this comment would make the most sense because its more of an entire blog comment. I have only just discovered your blog this morning. I have read your thoughts from Spetember through December. (I normally do not read blogs.) Your honesty is beauty. When you write, whether your own life or your characters, I am able te recognize pieces of myself.
You are a good analyzer. I like that, it saves me the stress. If you were my neighbor, I’d probably never have to think through anything again. Maybe that’s why I enjoy reading. It is so clean, so finished. Real life is so tangled and messy and waiting for the ending/answer.
Finally, I am in awe of how much a home-schooling mother can accopmplish. How do you do it all?! I would probably read all day, but my grandchildren are now awake and wanting food.
Your pictures are beautiful…
