Ah, January.
When all I really want to do is sit and knit.
And watch my dogs worship the fireplace.
School’s out for the day.
I’m trying to make this.
It’s on ravelry for free.
Found a sheet at a thrift shoppe that will be a wee Valentine’s quilt.
It’s raining.
I like this purse. Kipling apes have been good friends to us throughout the years.
I’d like to have a dress kind of like this:
{via here}
Only in clover green. With navy, yes, heels, and a bright yellow sweater or shrug.
Ohmygoodnessgracious, I think I’m in a clothes shopping mood. Very odd. Very odd. Let me give it a minute; it’ll pass. Normally I just shop for livestock.
Finally finished painting the study.
It is very bright. I like it! I’m in the minority!
My next project is to get one of those cool Asgard Press collegiate calendars (University of Tennessee, of course, for my favorite, freckled, handsome, now soul-patched alum) and have some of the “months” framed to hang on the walls. I just don’t like that whole black-framed commercial athletic sports bar-type thing said alum had in there. Just didn’t go with my, um, aesthetic. (“aesthetic”= taste) So I feel that a vintage theme is a good compromise. It’s still football, only…old.
Clever, I think.
But you know, if I ever die, it will only take like a day for him to put things back the way he wants them. I know it.
